Parking is a nightmare!!! Guests have to search for street parking which can be quite inconvenient. The hot tub temperature could be improved !!!

Came here for 1 night with my friend, everything was perfect. The staff were extremely friendly lot of time. The hotel location was good in an area from where you can walk to have diner or shop.

We stayed in an Artist Cottage, super cozy and private with our own little patio and Jacuzzi. The mineral spring pool and hot tub were perfect for a relaxing evening after a day of exploring. Just a heads up, parking can be a bit tricky, so plan ahead 😊

Very nice but...
In general: I cannot fault the staff at the hotel. Exemplary. However, I was concerned when we found 2 sets or brand new ear plugs on our bed side table. Nothing I had seen before. And I understood why! The hotel is older and beautiful. We were on the first floor. The room above us had the noisiest floorboards ever! So I would return here, but ALWAYS ask for the 2nd(top) floor!!! Location and surroundings: Location was the best. Just walk to everything! Service: Staff extremely friendly - cannot fault them at all!! Dining: We ate at Veraison. Great food, good service. A little pricey we thought but then it is Wine Country! We also had a drink at Johnny's - sports bar'ish. So one does have the choice of 2 different types of eatery which is good. The breakfast is danish, coffee and juice. Minimal but good. Useful tips: Do not get the first floor!

Really good staff service was a highlight of our stay.
The mattress in our room was severely worn out. We found ourselves rolling towards the center all night, quite irritating. The bedside lights malfunctioned and had to be manually unplugged.

I visited with my family (including 7 and 2 years daughters). We enjoyed heated pool and Jacuzzi. This hotel is located main street of Calistoga, and easy to access many restrant and shops. All staffs have hospitality. The room was very clean. We made good memories in Calistoga.
Only bad point was noisy air conditioner (room 111). (Sometimes noisy, and sometimes OK) That should be repaired.

Charming, Charming, Charming
I fell in love with the charming vibe of this historic hotel! From the classic Art Deco decor to the soothing heated mineral pool, every detail reminded me of a cozy hug. The complimentary breakfast also brought pure joy, with fresh pastries delivered right to my room each morning!
Totally recommend ❤️✨

Location and friendly staff. For an older property, it had updated amenities (i.e., free wi-fi, flat screen TVs and iPod hookups. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Enjoyed breakfast brought to the room each morning. A very good value considering hotel pricing in the Napa Valley.

Liked the updated rooms and friendly staff. Also, breakfast delivered to the room in the morning. The fresh baked scones were excellent (not too sweet).

The heated mineral pool was great, but the check-in process took too long.

Service was wonderful. When returning to the hotel, I stopped at the desk and asked for a spoon. Before I could get my coat off, the desk clerk was at the door with 2 spoons. When checking in, the clerk asked if this was a special occasion. yes. anniversary. and he upgraded us to the honeymoon suite...very nice and what a special treat. thank you.
The tempurature in the room was difficult to maintain with the window unit, which was noisy. It was peaceful when turned off, but the room quickly got cold. This is one of the challenges of a historic building, so it was acceptable.

Pool and location
It was à nice hotel, nothing more/nothing less. à lot of money for an old fashioned room and definitely an old airconditioning. It made à lot of noise and didn't really cool. Would probably try to find someting else for that budget next time.
